Presidio Quartet offers a variety of educational and interactive performances and master classes. Please contact us for more information at info@presidioquartet.com.

For children K-5 we offer narrated programs such as “Saxopotomus” and “Three Billy Goats Gruff and the Troll.” These delightful programs feature:

A narrator (possibly a teacher from your school).
The quartet performing and acting out various characters demonstrating the differing qualities of each instrument.
Audience participation is a must, providing much needed sound effects and the voice of such characters as the troll in “Billy Goats Gruff.”

For Grades 6-12 we offer master classes and performances.

Master classes which can focus on many different aspects of performance such as ensemble playing, intonation, rehearsal techniques, and more.
Performance can be catered for school assemblies and/or formal evening concerts.
School Districts may be interested in a combination of master classes and performances at various schools culminating in a formal local evening concert.

"Tucson, AZ February 2006, the Presidio Saxophone Quartet has knocked our socks off! With Greg Armstrong on soprano saxophone, Daniel Bell on alto saxophone, Mike Keepe on tenor saxophone, Ryan McCormick on baritone saxophone, and Ann Peterson as narrator, the group presented the Magic Rug Concert, Saxopotamus at the Music & Dance Academy this last Saturday. Concert-goers discovered the thrill of the saxophone through the magic of two well-loved children’s stories, Saxopotamus and The Three Billy Goats Gruff."
